Summer of 2019 officially began on June 21, and here in Georgia it has been hot and humid. There’s a new ice cream franchise in our city and now was the best time to check it out.

It all started with a loved one challenging me to join them in a 30-day vegan challenge. I didn’t even hesitate because I think deep inside I knew it would be best for me. Needless to say, the person who challenged me lasted all of 4 days and I kept on going and here I am nearly 3 years later.

When people find out that I don’t consume meat or dairy products, they usually wrinkle their nose up and express how they could never give up meats or cheeses. Then as the conversation progresses, the first thing they ask me is, “How do I go vegan?”
